Notes & Combos
Disregard my previous opinion on the format -- the Mimighouls have come to salvage it for me. Inspired by Chandler over here, I finally bit the bullet and swapped out my beloved Fendsmeet backup plan for the raw power of Kashtiras and it completely changed the way I look at this deck now.
I noticed Mimighoul's going 1st gameplan kind of cooks Blue-Eyes alive. They're so reliant on their normal summon, and have no inherent way to break the lock like with Deception or Deebl, that you often make them pay really heavily just to play (if they can at all -- summoning sickness on Room give is a thing). In addition, the ability to use either Tactic (i.e., Thrust and Talents) going first lets you deny their access to Maiden. And as if that wasn't already enough, you constantly threaten to banish the 1-of Spirit Ultimate with KashUnicorn and don't really care about GY effects.
If you go 2nd and open only 1 handtrap it isn't a huge deal either, since again, the Tactics and the Kashtiras help even the odds. You can also Thrust for Maker, or even turbo a Typhon and Thrust for Room (look, he's not just a concede button!) To illustrate this, one of my replays is a huge upset comeback versus Tearlaments where I only opened a single Bloss.
True to my Purrely roots, I haven't actually found myself summoning Accesscode at all yet. That could be a 2nd Throne or Zeus to play around the opponent's KashUnicorn or something. I also haven't yet summoned Goddess (the "anti-cheese white woman"?), though I think the loose extra makes her worth the slot juuust in case. Saint Azamina, regrettably, is real and has hurt me while I was still on Primsmeet.
