Notes & Combos

Thanks to the following factors, I was able to pull off this 15-game winstreak:

• Good opening hands
• Blue-Eyes still being a strong and flexible deck with a lot of handtraps
• Making fewer mistakes than I usually do (but there is still a lot of room for improvement tbh)
• Lots of mistakes from my opponents, which helped me win some games I shouldn't have won
• Some of my opponents' surrenders were weird, considering the game state.

I encountered fewer Maliss players than I expected and the Maliss players I encountered showed that the deck needs some practice (it turns out that this late in the season some Maliss players in Master are struggling with their own deck), so the decision not to play Artifact Lancea probably helped with the winstreak.

The coin flip results were pretty even, but since I didn't keep count and can't check some replays anymore, I unfortunately don't know the exact result.

Over time, I've been adapting my decklist (especially the extra deck) more and more to Joey Chou's decklist from the WCS 2025 Qualifier (he achieved first place in North America), which I may continue to do. For this win streak, however, the decklist here remained unchanged.

There aren't many replays since most of the games were non-games. The most notable game is the one against Labrynth, where ironically I made a few mistakes, but hey, a win is a win ^^
