Notes & Combos

I made some changes to my WCQ list. I still think there might be way to make a version with Purge work better, but I felt like playing Droll had more benefit for my matchups. Besides that, it feels nice to run a minimum of Ghost Ogre + Droll to make Crossout better.

I tried cutting down on cards that might seem must-have, like Archfiend, Master + Throne, or Thrust + Tactics. In the end I decided to go over 40, just because I don't like opening a bad combo of random 1-of engine pieces (The easier [and less funny] solution would be to cut Charm). With a deck that has this many starters it didn't feel too bad, but I wouldn't want to go much closer to 50.

I like One for One, because using that as a starter means you can potentially go into Giant and search Dungeon/Archfiend to Normal Summon in case your Maker didn't already give you one.

For the Extra Deck: 2nd Zeus never came up, but everything else felt useful. If it felt worth the UR CP, I'd run a 2nd SP. To Summon Zeus most times Fucho was good enough, since putting stuff in defense means Nightingale's direct attacks are rarely needed.

I hit the replay limit, so there's a lot to watch at least.

If you want to see funny Charm plays, I recommend the 2 games I tagged as "Satisfaction".

Some games can be tough losses, too. Once it turns into a grind, it's a challenge to cut decks off their self-recovering cards. Drill Beam, Fiend Smith, or Branded can lead to some crucial situations and it's difficult to find the best play at times.
