Notes & Combos

Here is the NEW version of my Pure Supreme King FTK.

Compared to the previous SKOE version

Pros:

1. Much higher FTK opening consistency due to less engine garnets
2. Able to put up negates to insulate FTK combo
3. More 2 card combos that leads to FTK (see combo section)
4. Fits into 40 card deck size

Cons:

1. A MENACE to pilot due to multiple combo lines and hand openings
2. Heavily reliant on Pend Evo
3. FTK combo no longer immune to Bystials Handtrap (HT)

General comments

• Astro at 3 has been amazing, allowing for advantage and consistency. Some lines require 2 copies.

• Crystal clear wing over synchro dragon is not a flex, its effect is required for starving venom to copy when in GY for an omni-negate.

• Try to bring out starving venom whenever possible as precaution for follow up on next turn if the opponent didn't surrender (copy electrumite to pop scales if necessary)

• I have also tried a chrono package early during my climb, but it felt clunky so I removed it (some replays contains chronograph)

• I find the current engine-to-HT ratio to be the best balance between going both 1st and 2nd

The following 2 cards will combo into FTK (Tutorial):

• SKM + Astro (which, by extension, also means wings of light/revo/darkwurm/burial/shrine + astro)
• Lightwurm + SKM
• Light and Darkwurm

HT choices are meta dependant. I have opted for boardbreakers instead due to HTs being not very impactful against the current meta when going 2nd.

Ghost-ogre deserves special mention as a HT because like ash, it helps to bring out baronne with any lvl 7s.
