Finally made it. I'm so happy, this is my first time reaching M1.
I've been through a tough time at M2 and dropped to M3, so I decided to try the Millennium engine to improve consistency and get a better endboard. Surprisingly, it worked better than expected. Although it costs half your LP, what you get in return is totally worth it. You get better protection against Nibiru or handtraps thanks to Photon Lord, easier access to the Fiendsmith combo, or an extra body for a Rank 6 Xyz. And most importantly, better board-breaking potential, even an OTK in some cases.
If you're going first and have both Millennium and Retaliating C, you're in luck—you can place Retaliating C in your backrow with Wedju Temple, send them to the grave to summon Doomed Dragon, and then add Maxx C to your hand, which is super cool.
With the extra engine, I went for a 50-card pile and added more handtraps to keep things balanced.
