Kashtira Best Deck, Always

Kash is very Strong this Format due to how GY dependent Meta Decks are. Deck still suffers from its main issue right now, which is consistency, yet 8/10 games you should still at the very least be able to end on a fairly decent End-Board such as Shangri-Pass with some handtraps/floodgates.

  • Ogre is by no means a good card, but I do think if there's a format for him, this has to be the one. Blue-Eyes and Primite Decks are still very relevant in the Meta, which makes Preparations absurdly broken out of nowhere since it now not only makes True Light a massive punish, but it also gives you protection against Drillbeam for Arise (If your opponent Drillbeams Arise, you can just immediately bring it back, and you can even use the targeted Arise to banish something -like the Drillbeam, so it doesn't reset itself- and when Arise comes back he will start attaching new materials to banish again since it is such a fun, well designed card :D). Ogre's banish from Deck is also extremely strong this Format; you can snipe stuff like Lacrima, Drillbeam, True Light, Wanted, Ash/Poplar, even Blue-Eyes. I won 1 Duel against Millenium simply by resolving Ogre and banishing 1 Exodia Piece. This in no way means you should be running 3 Ogre like a madman as some people do. It gets you nowhere and only makes you brick more IME.
  • Fissure is extremely strong this Format. It's way better than Macro since it is good turn 1 both going 1st and 2nd, unlike Macro which is dead in both Scenarios. Going 1st it is especially strong since it avoids Veiler, Droll and Ogre, all very popular handtraps this Format.
  • Lance is a personal favorite tech of mine, as far as I know almost nobody else is running it. Truth is Arise auto-wins against pretty much every Deck unless he gets outed by the usual suspects: stuff like Imperm, Talents, Drillbeam, or the Random Raigeki/Dark Hole bad players love to run in MD. Lance not only counters all of that, but is also great going 1st by preventing Imperm/Purge. It also proves worthy sometimes to run over stuff. It truly is extremely underrated, but it is certainly very niche. Arise-Heart is the main reason you would run this.
  • I cut Fuwaloss since in High Elo people are very skilled at playing around it, often giving you very few draws, if any. Plus, Kash has no use for it going 1st.
  • Judgment is flexible, but IME it has been performing great. Concept is very similar to Lance: Protect the Arise, you win the Match.

Extra Notes

  • A lot of people are cutting Called-By/Crossout. I don't think this is correct. Kash almost always wins so long as your full combo resolves, yet the Deck is very fragile to handtraps right now due to how weakened it is; quite often 2 or even 1 single handtrap can be enough to stop you. Hence, you need as many ways to protect your full combo as possible.
