Got to Master 1 in July 16th.

A massive impact to the Meta has happened with the release of Maliss making it look like the #1 public enemy of the game (they are 😠) with everyone slotting a card just to deal with them... Lancea... and of course my Deck also gets caught in the crossfire 🫠

For so long Yuki ABSOLUTE has been doing little to nothing since the day we got over Tear meta 😞... UNTIL NOW!! SHE IS NOW PREVENTING ANY Maliss from digging themselves out of that pseudo GY!!!🥳

The Zero is so ABSOLUTE that summoning her even under the C is worth!! Well kinda forced because if you end on nothing, you know you might not have another turn after they C you (unless you prepare some serious back up plans).

Kinda slacked at the start of this Season. Got around 2 derank from D4 to D5, and 1 derank from D3 to D4. New Meta started when I got to D3 the second time... and since then, I haven't deranked for the rest of the Season 🥳... while that may convey that this one is easy for the Deck, it is absolutely not 🫠

Yuki ABSOLUTE is really kicking the new Meta but it is all the same. Same old GO FIRST OR GO HOME (or Lancea or C). Yuki can't exist when there is no first 😞

Despite all that, I have faced way worse back then. SE was way worse than this 🫠... BEWD too 😞

• About my Deck:

To face the #1 public enemy of the game, we HAVE to use Lancea. I dropped x2 staples from previous Season for x2 of them. Also added x1 Delta cutting another staple.

For my Deck, it isn't just drawing it to get it. I can also mill AND revive it. Eldlixirs and Mezuki can do this under Zombie World. Zombie Vampire can get one from either GY with the mill. Vampire Fascinator can also steal one from the opponent GY.

All this and no words for Delta??? Sadly it is not at it best without Angel Caido 😞

Why x1 Delta? The Deck have really easy way to bring ZW on field quickly so it's mostly gonna be a fight between which stays. To prevent that, I play x1.

But you won't draw it much??? That is better because there is a better way to access it... Milling. When it is in GY, it will come back to hand when you resolve Eldlich effect in GY, and can act like a chain link blocker if you decide to summon Hajun with Eldlich's hand effect (activate Hajun, chain 2 trigger Delta dodging a potential negate).

Let just talk about the elephant in the room (there is nothing else)...

What is Maliss?

It is the result of when a company wants to make their graph go up. They have to look at the most used handtraps and print words that says "you can't do this to me". You have no idea where is the best Ash moment just because they had to make this sell. And to balance, let's make it have 2 cards that stops them (just draw the out bro). Those are the C and Lancea.

The Deck has "costs" written on each of them, but none of the are really "costs" because whatever "costs" them is a plus (1 card = the whole Deck).

The Deck draws so much that aside from dealing what you see, you have to deal with what is in hand because the field is not enough space to put them all in.

How are you dealing with this???

Yuki Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi... but here is the catch, just go first bro.

They do have ways to deal with her, so always prepare ways to send her to GY and revive her in case she is negated.

Going second is dependant on hand. There are times where I get enough to break the board, and even if not finishing the game on the turn, summoning Yuki Absolute can block their entire next turn.

Their normal gameplay drains a lot of cards on their Deck as well as their LP. That deck draining is also a lot of drawing making them very high chance to C you. This means we get the Mayakashi second win con (you know what it is). Now about the LP draining, if you punch them hard enough, they will leave out with no plays because all those summons requires them spending LP... or just win the game by punching them really hard.

It is not just punching. READ WHAT THE MALISS LINKS ARE POINTING TO. Had one game where I did not finish them just because I didn't read... but it was still game over just because as mentioned above, PUNCH THEM HARD and YUKI ABSOLUTE.

If you suspect they are playing Maliss (very likely this Season) and they C you, at least try to end on Yuki Absolute (via linking, not the whole Mayakashi synchros) because you know all it takes for them is 1 card, so whatever they would draw is pointless in the sense of them already having the plays.

Zombie World comes very handy at not letting them put their Maliss in GY to be used for cost (Linguriboh/Link Decoder) and prevents any Link plays from their Cyberse links arsenal.

If you want to really resolve Lancea, at least prepare a Huaqero banish in case they have Called for you Lancea, or can even be rescued with Eldlixirs reviving it under ZW.

Despite all this, this Meta has been better than any versions of the SE Meta and the not so long ago BEWD Meta. Yuki's niche floodgate putting up a lot of work!!😁
